Book chapter: Eating the elephant one bite at a time: Publishing as you write your thesis In the process of completing the PhD the candidate becomes an expert in their field. Through publishing as that work is completed they become a known expert. This paper will explore the process of publishing the thesis as it is written. In reviewing the literature, in re-interpreting past findings, in the research conducted or ideas explored the candidate is contributing to their field of study.
